Inspections are made and ratings are given according to American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) standards. N&A will provide comprehensive reports based on the results of the inspections.
Niemeyer & Associates, P.C. will thoroughly research all existing records to determine available information that applies to the study such as right-of-way track, buildings, crossing signals, bridges, etc. and review results of automated inspections, capital programs and other records of major work performed before inspection begins. Once basic information is gathered, detailed field inspections will be performed. The physical data will be drawn together from the inspections and inventories and evaluated to complete and document the study in a timely manner.

N&A will provide an experienced team to design a practical rendering of the necessary facility. From a basic track layout to a complete rail yard, from extensions for an existing culvert to a bridge over a major waterway, N&A will design the most practical plan.
Niemeyer & Associates, P.C. can take a project from the idea phase all the way through completion. Along the way, N&A's staff will design, obtain necessary approvals and/or permits, set up a bid process, provide construction management, train contractor's personnel in on-track-safety, inspect materials and workmanship and ensure that the project is completed as per plan in a timely manner.
