Due to this unique operation N&A has very few employees in the conventional sense. N&A's associates come from varying backgrounds, most of whom have railroad engineering department backgrounds in either general, track, structures, signal or communications. There are also former railroad employees whose specialties are in transportation, real estate, human relations, planning, finance and purchasing. N&A has associates that are Licensed Professional Engineers in the civil, structural and mechanical engineering fields.
